A day out in the sun is being organised in celebration of the global Earthdance Project on 18th September 2010, at Fritz & Elba’s venue in Midrand – Proceeds in favour of Reach for a Dream!
Join us for Earthdance, the largest synchronised music and dance world festival for peace. Virginie Charlier and Henriette Joubert are the two Biodanza facilitators connecting our community into this global phenomenon. And it is all happening at Elba & Fritz Duminy's centre, 36 Modderfontein Road, President Park, Midrand (see below Google map link for directions).
The day will start at 11am with an opening vivencia. The main vivencia will run from 4pm to 6pm and will end with the world wide prayer for peace. The event will then continue till late!
A full program for adults and children is being planned together with all-day, ongoing activities for all; Opening Ceremony with Carolina, Yoga, Tao, Meditation, Main Vivencia including Peace Prayer, Sunset Drumming and Sweat lodge. Further art & crafts for the children, face painting, pony rides, Sangoma Readings, walking the medicine wheel, puppet shows, massages etc.
There is a full program for all the family with a host of stalls and alternative therapies – all in line with creating Inner Peace.
For the slightly older Earthlings (adults) we have:

- Sweat lodge
- Medicine wheel
- Sangoma readings

- Biodanza for children
- Yoga for kids
- Arts & crafts for kids
- Pony rides

Private rooms will be hosting therapists putting on offer their various alternative modalities of personal healing.
Bring a picnic, come and braai or you can buy refreshments from the well equipped & prepared kitchen.

Open-air space will be available for stalls of different kinds, while we also have 8 rooms available where we envisage alternative therapies to be offered from.
We are presenting the opportunity to our Biodanza community to participate by either booking a stall (open-air) or booking a room for your therapy – no fee will be charged for your booking, you will only be expected to donate a portion of your days’ takings for our chosen charity (Reach for a Dream).
We further require your assistance. Please can you and by return email she will let you know where and how you can assist.
Virginie will send confirmation of the full program and contact details closer to the time, we will also be getting together at the venue some time soon so everyone can see what is available for them and what to do/bring in order for their day to be a success.
