The Minotaur Project is a methodology used in Biodanza to access your deepest fears and doubts holding you back in life. This ancient Greek myth is used to access our path inwards.
The Labyrinth is an archetypal metaphor which represents our own existence with doubts and enigma. In the centre is the Minotaur, a creature of human body and head of a bull, symbolizing our savage and instinctive aspect which pulses within us as a primordial force.
The aim is to re-establish the lost connection with this primordial force, rescuing its beauty and offering it self-regulation.
The challenge is rather to assimilate or integrate our Minotaur rather than seeking to kill it.
